Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased)
· Recently increased basic salary to £47,403 per year (with regular overtime available).
· Company based in a Leicestershire village: 20 minutes’ drive from Loughborough, 30minutes’ drive from Leicester, 35 minutes’ drive from Nottingham, and 45minutes’ drive from Derby.
· ShiftMaintenance Engineer role working an average of 42 hours per week over a 3 week rolling period that includes working Mornings, Afternoons, and Nights:
Week 1 (46 hours per week): 6am to 3pm Monday to Thursday / 6am to 4pm Friday
Week 2 (40 hours per week): 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday / 9am to 5pm Friday
Week 3 (40 hours per week): 8pm to 6am Monday to Thursday / No Friday Nights

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that plant and facilities are maintained to a high standard, downtime meets targets, and that you always comply to SHE guidelines. You will work on shift patterns with2 other Engineers as part of a 19-person onsite Engineering Team and your Managers communicate with an open-door policy. They will encourage you to make suggestions and share expertise that will drive continuous improvement and maintain a happy and motivated workforce.
Have you got the qualifications, experience, and skills to be considered for this Shift Maintenance Engineer position?
· You must have a time-served apprenticeship and will ideally be qualified to NVQLevel 3 (or equivalent).
· You must hold 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and have excellent electrical fault-finding skills.
· You must have experience with TPM & PPM systems. You will also need experience with Siemens & Allen Bradley controlled systems.
· Your employment experience must transfer to working on plant used by the company to produce landscaping and building products. These include conveyors, presses,weighers, mixers, hoppers, roller tracks, banders, shot blasts and hudder machines.
· Your employment experience must transfer to repairing and maintaining components like 3phase, relays, connectors, bearings and driver chains.

· £47,403 per annum basic salary(reviewed annually)
· 25 days + Bank Holidays
· 3 tier pensions scheme - EE 3% = ER7% / EE 5% = ER 9% / EE 7% = 11%
· Up to 8x death in service.
· Overtime available - some engineersare claiming up to 30+ hours per month. Overtime is paid at 1.5x Sat and 2xSun.
· Full PPE provided
