Training Manager (Automotive)

  • Basic salary £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience + Car allowance
  • Hybrid work options for 1-2 days per week

In this Training Manager role, you will be working in partnership with a large automotive client and be responsible for the training teams; UK and German Domestic, Training Development and Deployment (EU focused).

You will be working for a global leader in digital learning that provide managed learning solutions for government, military, and commercial customers. This is a customer facing role that will require your skills and experience in contract negotiation and management, working closely with other departments.

Your tasks will be varied. some of these in brief, will include:

  • Management and coordination of the operational team, sub-contractors and partners
  • Leading multi-functional teams including customers and vendors
  • Training management and administration services on planning and local development, deployment and training delivery activities stipulated under customer contracts
  • Management and analysis of the training requirements of the customers and its dealer networks
  • Preparation and tracking of project budget with accountability for execution of all training services on cost and within agreed timescales
  • Ensure training standards are met
  • Represent at customer meetings, official conferences and other events to support a high level of customer intimacy, image development and business growth
  • Management and identification of subject matter experts for development, deployment and delivery of training initiatives

Skills and experience required:

· Experience of working in Training and Education, working with Global businesses in Operational Management of European Teams

· Previous experience of working in Automotive is essential

· Degree or similar experienced based personal education

· Project Management qualified/experienced

· High level project coordination skills (for projects following a predefined process structure)

· Exceptional strategical and organisational skills with high attention to detail

· Excellent Financial and Budget planning and operational skills

· Strong analysing and problem-solving skills

· Strong People Management skills (Teams and associates across Europe)
