We’re working with a fantastic Leicester based engineering business that supplies architectural and structural steelwork for some of the UK’s biggest stadiums and distribution centres. With a turnover of £8 million, a full order book, and Execution Class 3 accreditation, they’re known for extremely high standards and a genuinely supportive team culture. They’re now hiring two Fabricators.

Position: Fabricator (no welding)

Location: Leicester

Hourly Rate: £15.50 to £16.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 5:30pm, Friday 7am to 9:30am

Benefits: On site parking, company pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, regular overtime paid at 1.25x, 1.5x and 2x and more

What you’ll be doing:

• Fabricate products such as balustrades, staircases, and structural components from cold formed and hot rolled stainless, and structural steel
• Read engineering drawings and create your own jigs
• Work to +/- 2mm tolerances under EN1090 standards
• Use workshop equipment like grinders, drills, pillar drills, sanders etc. Experience using cutting and bending machinery is advantageous

What we’re looking for:

• Strong fabrication skills using traditional workshop tools
• Ability to read and work from drawings confidently
• Experience making jigs
• Ideally qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Fabrication & Welding
