Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer 

Location: North Thoresby 

Pay: £42,000 – £43,000 per year 

Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 12 hour days & nights (rotating) 

Future Pattern: Must be flexible to move to a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern 

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading UK plastics recycling company who are looking for a talented and hands on Electrical Shift Engineer to join their high performing engineering team working shifts. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy production environment, enjoys problem solving and takes pride in keeping machinery running at peak performance. 

Responsibilities: 

• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to a high standard 

• Respond quickly to plant and production breakdowns 

• Work closely with production teams to resolve engineering issues 

• Maintain exceptional health & safety standards 

• Keep accurate maintenance records and ensure smooth shift handovers 

 What We’re Looking for: 

• Experienced engineer from a production/manufacturing background 

• Qualified Electrician – 17th or 18th Edition 

• Strong mechanical/electrical fault finding skills 

• Proactive, safety conscious and a strong communicator 

• Flexible to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing patterns
