Job Title: Corporate Sales Manager (Hybrid)

Location: Minworth, B76
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 DOE
Package: Bonus, £6,000 car allowance, pension

Your Recruiters is working with a well-established metal distribution business to recruit an experienced Corporate Sales Manager. This is a senior, high-impact role supporting the Commercial Director and leading sales performance across multiple sites.

You’ll have full responsibility for aligning internal and external sales teams with the wider commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, protecting margins, and developing a high-performing sales culture across the business.

The Role:

As Corporate Sales Manager, you will:

Sales Strategy & Regional Leadership

  • Take ownership of the regional sales strategy, ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies across multiple markets.
  • Identify and deliver new value-added opportunities.
  • Review performance and adapt strategies to improve regional results.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor and develop internal and external sales teams across all sites.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly 1-2-1s with direct reports.
  • Coach, motivate and performance-manage sales teams against KPIs.
  • Address customer or people-related issues as they arise.

Business Development & Customer Engagement

  • Drive growth across existing and new customers using a mix of direct sales, exhibitions, digital channels and strategic outreach.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Support the sales team with customer meetings, quotations and major tenders.
  • Ensure consistently high levels of customer service.

Market Intelligence & Commercial Insight

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer demand.
  • Use insight and data to shape and refine sales strategies.

Sales Operations, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Prepare and analyse sales reports, budgets and forecasts.
  • Support monthly and annual forecasting to strict deadlines.
  • Produce weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
  • Provide pipeline updates and commercial insight to the Commercial Director.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Attend sales meetings, trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.
  • Work closely with external partners and internal departments to align commercial activity.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to deliver business objectives.

Recruitment & Training

  • Support recruitment across sales teams.
  • Develop and coach Sales Managers to maintain high professional standards.
  • Deliver training on internal and external processes.
  • Maintain accurate training records.

Travel & Field Presence

  • Travel regularly across the UK and internationally to visit customers, prospects and industry events.
  • Overnight stays required where necessary to ensure meaningful engagement.

About You:

  • Proven senior sales leadership experience, ideally within metal distribution or a similar industrial environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue and margin growth.
  • Confident managing and developing multi-site sales teams.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels.
  • Willing and able to travel UK and internationally.
