Position: Administration Assistant – Temporary contract to start ASAP!!
Contract: Temporary up to 2 months (maybe longer)
Location: Birmingham
Hours of Work: 9 am – 5 pm (35 hrs) Mon – Fri
Salary: £12.50ph
Our client is looking for a confident admin assistant to join their established team based at their Birmingham office and support the business with the administration of the shipping department.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review documentation
- Filing
- Inbound calls & enquiries
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, shipments, and import/export documentation
- Act as the point of contact for queries related to export/import processes, both internally and with external partners
- Provide general administrative support to the logistics and supply chain teams as required
What we’re looking for:
- Competent user of Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to use on own initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Comfortable with filing, data entry and handling calls/emails
