Job Title: Compliance Officer

Are you detail-driven and confident working in fast-paced, industrial environments? We’re recruiting a Compliance Officer on behalf of a leading UK plastic recycling company. This role supports ISO and BRC compliance across several certified sites, with a focus on audits, documentation and certification standards.

Please be aware: The role involves regular site visits to operational recycling facilities, which can be dirty, noisy, and smelly. A practical and resilient approach is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BRC standards
• Support internal/external audits and track corrective actions
• Manage document control and compliance records across all sites
• Monitor training, deadlines, and certification renewals
• Liaise with site teams, auditors, and certification bodies

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in compliance, QA, or admin within manufacturing or recycling (essential)
• Knowledge of ISO and BRC standards (essential)
• Driving licence and access to transport for occasional travel
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in industrial environments

Desirable:

• Internal Auditor qualification
• EHS or regulatory understanding
