Position: Customer Service Coordinator

Salary: £27,000 – £31,000 depending on experience

Location: Hybrid work: Monday & Tuesday office based in Bootle (Merseyside) and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday is work from home.

Employment benefits include: 24 days holiday + public holidays, ‘Wellness’ day once per quarter (at company discretion), Pension matched at 4% contribution, Private healthcare for individual, partner, and any dependants up to the age of 24 (effective upon completion of probationary period), Life assurance (paying 4 times gross salary) and Free onsite parking (as needed)

We’re looking for a Customer Service Coordinator who thrives on building strong relationships and delivering top-notch service that keeps customers coming back for more.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Manage and process orders (manual, portal and EDI) using ERP system (JD Edwards).
  • Serve as the main point of contact for 30+ customer accounts – own those relationships!
  • Handle returns, claims and chargebacks with accuracy and care.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Planning and Logistics to ensure smooth, timely and compliant order fulfilment.
  • Review and analyse customer scorecards to identify service improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure all customer communications are clear, timely, and professional – respond within 24 hours.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Experience in customer service, ideally within manufacturing, logistics or consumer products.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred), along with MS Word, Excel and internet tools.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
