Job Title: Freight Account Manager
Pay: £25,000 – £40,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE £50k–£120k)
Location: Birmingham B37 (Near the airport) / Hybrid

We’re representing a specialist freight forwarder with over 25 years of industry experience, offering air, sea, road and courier solutions. They’ve got the operational backing, competitive rates and third party carrier partnership, what they need now is a strong salesperson who knows how to turn contacts into customers, and customers into long term accounts.
If you’ve spent years building trust with shippers and decision makers, this business will let you put that value to work, and make serious commission doing it.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Winning and developing new business across all freight modes
- Turning existing contacts into GP generating accounts
- Providing accurate quotes and closing opportunities quickly
- Managing your own desk, your own way
- Working alongside an experienced, service focused ops team
What We’re Looking for:
- Experience in freight
- Proven ability to bring in new business and retain it
- Confidence, credibility, and a commercial mindset
- A network of contacts you know how to convert
- Someone who wants to earn well and be trusted to perform
What’s In It For You:
- Up to £40,000 basic salary (£45,000 for a high performing freight salesperson)
- Uncapped monthly commission:
- £10k GP = £1,750
- £15k GP = £3,000
- £20k GP = £4,000+
- OTE £50,000 – £120,000 within 1–3 years
- Company car or allowance after probation
