You’ll be working in a busy joinery workshop, operating machinery, cutting wood to size using saws, and supporting general labouring tasks. This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, practical, and ready to learn. Experience in a similar environment is helpful but not essential.

Position: Machine Minder
Location: Wigston, Leicester
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:30am – 4.30pm, Friday, 7:30am – 2:00pm
Pay: £12.50 per hour paid weekly by Your Recruiters
Contract Type: This is a temporary position that may lead to a permanent job after 13 weeks employment service

Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day production and warehouse operations in a busy environment
• Handle materials and products with care – including regular lifting of up to 20kg
• Work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team (around 12 people)
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Follow instructions and safety procedures precisely
• Assist with packing, loading, unloading, and general manual handling duties
