Position: MIG Welder

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire

Working Hours: 06:00-14:00 (Monday to Friday) with regular premium paid overtime hours available

Pay Rate: £14 – £16.50 per hour (based on experience)

Your Role as a MIG Welder:

  • Perform MIG welding on sheet metal components, ensuring strong and clean welds
  • Set up and adjust welding equipment for different materials and specifications
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Conduct quality checks using precision measuring tools to maintain weld integrity
  • Work with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following health & safety procedures
  • Support grinding and finishing of welded components as required

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication setting
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
  • Experience with grinding and finishing welded components
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
