Job Title: QC Technician

Location: Loughborough
Salary: £12.50 – £12.90 per hour

Contract Type: 6 Month Temporary Contract

We’re looking for a Quality Control (QC) Technician to carry out essential checks on pharmaceutical raw materials and components, ensuring they meet strict industry and regulatory standards. This role is perfect for those who can follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), stay focused on repetitive tasks, and pay close attention to detail.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Learn & Apply GMP Standards – A great introduction to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) if you haven’t worked in a regulated environment before.
  • Routine Quality Checks – Conduct repetitive inspections of pharmaceutical materials and components, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Data Recording & Documentation – Maintain accurate records, labelling and documentation as per regulatory guidelines.
  • Product & Equipment Monitoring – Ensure materials meet required standards before production use and flag any deviations.
  • Safety & Compliance – Follow health and safety regulations (e.g., CoSHH) and support compliance efforts during audits.

What We’re Looking For:

  • No prior GMP experience needed – this is a great way to get started in a regulated industry.
  • Ability to follow strict SOPs and maintain focus on repetitive quality checks.
  • Attention to detail – ensuring materials meet required standards.
  • Previous experience in QC, GMP or manufacturing is beneficial, but graduates with a scientific or technical background are encouraged to apply.
  • Commitment to quality, compliance and working in a structured environment.
