Position: Sales Administrator
Contract: Temp to Perm – to start ASAP!
Location: Winson Green, Birmingham (B18)
Hours of Work: 8 am – 5 pm, Mon – Fri (40hrs)
Salary: £12.21ph (£25,400pa)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Deal with all enquiries from customers & suppliers, either by phone or email
- Purchase ledger / process knowledge
- Basic accounting knowledge advantage
- Purchase order processing
- Creating spreadsheets using Excel
- Data entry
- Logging all calls & queries
- Filing, updating folders
- Maintaining CRM system
- Fact finding & information gathering
- Must be accurate & good attention to detail
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is a must
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Be proficient and proactive in prioritising your own workload
- A conscientious ‘can do’ working attitude
- Confidence to deal with difficult situations and to know when appropriate to seek guidance from your line manager
