Position: Warehouse / FLT Operative (Counterbalance)

Pay: £14.30 per hour (Including shift allowance)

Contract: 1 month Temporary – to start ASAP and potential to extend

Location: Minworth, Sutton Coldfield (B76)

Hours of Work: Shifts :

  • Week 1: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Week 2: Monday – Wednesday: 1.30pm – 12:00am, Thursday: 1.30pm – 11:30am

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently (valid licence required)
  • Move and sort stock using MHE and manual handling methods
  • Pick and pack materials according to customer orders
  • Maintain safety standards throughout your shift
  • Operate machinery (training provided if required)
  • Conduct basic quality checks including hardness, conductivity, and XRF testing
  • Complete accurate paperwork in line with customer and business requirements
  • Assist with stock takes and general warehouse housekeeping
  • Support other areas of the warehouse when needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive, flexible, and safety-conscious approach
  • Machine operating experience (desirable but not essential)
