This is a proper all-round warehouse role where you’ll be trusted to get stuck in, manage stock properly, and play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly.

Job Title: Warehouse Operative (FLT Counterbalance & Reach)

Location: Gravelly Park, Birmingham B24

Hours of Work: 8.45am – 4.45pm and Fridays, 8.45am – 4.15pm (Mon-Fri) (39.5hrs per week)

Contract Type: This is an ongoing temporary position with Your Recruiters Limited, that may lead to permanent employment with the hiring company after 13 weeks’ service.

Pay Rate: £13.37 per hour paid weekly by Your Recruiters Limited (equivalent salary of £27,461.98 per year)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operating Counterbalance and Reach trucks as part of daily duties, including loading and unloading vehicles and containers
  • Receiving, storing and despatching goods accurately, including booking in deliveries and checking against purchase orders
  • Picking, packing and preparing orders for despatch, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Managing stock through counts, rotation and system updates, including investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Handling returns, processing paperwork, and using warehouse and freight systems to track stock and shipments
  • Liaising with couriers and supporting the wider team to keep the warehouse organised, secure and running efficiently

What you’ll need:

  • Valid FLT licences (Counterbalance & Reach)
  • Solid warehouse experience, including stock control
  • Comfortable using warehouse systems (WMS)
  • Experience with systems like OPERA or similar
  • Familiar using freight / courier systems
  • Confident with basic admin and email (Outlook or similar)
