Sales Account Manager (Senior)

  • Creative Agency - Visual Merchandising, Retail Shopfitting & POS Sector.

  • Office based role in Loughborough, working 830am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. As the role may require some late finishes and business travel (with overnight stays) there will be times where working from home is sensible and time-off-in-lieu arrangements are necessary. But this is an office-based role. You've got to want to be spending your working hours office based and in the thick of it with customers, colleagues, and partners in the supply chain for projects.

  • £45K - £55K per year Basic Salary (depending on experience) + Commission + Company Car / Car Allowance

The MD wants you introduced to key customers and to accompany him on new business meetings from the outset.


Have you got a track record for developing existing client accounts in the visual merchandising, retail shop fitting, and POS space?


If you have the work ethic and experience we are looking for, you will love the thrill of delivering on high value, relationship led, retail projects. Your wide range of skills must include you being a brilliant communicator and highly credible with numbers, technology, and in the way you organise yourself to deliver on (what can feel like) high pressure rollout, after the next. Your collaboration with (a soon to be appointed) high calibre Project Manager, the marketing team, MD and SMT from the wider group will be critical in the success with this role.


Are you motivated by achieving targets and sales goals?


You will be agreeing realistic targets with the MD and providing weekly updates on the team's progress. Although your role is mainly geared towards account development with existing or lapsed clients, you are expected to be pro-active in sales activity, and excellent in recording progress and maximising Salesforce. This is nothing like a cold call sales role, but you must be commercial, and omni channeled through networks, social media, events etc in raising awareness for new business.

Are you more ambitious than a £65K- £70K OTE in your first year. Will you want more responsibility and greater reward after succeeding in your first year goals?

This is the mindset we are hoping to attract for this role. You are going to be trusted with crown jewels clients and management of existing clients and new enquiries early into your employment. You are joining at a time alongside other growth hires in professional project management and marketing roles, so you won't be the only newbie starting with goals to progress and develop.
