An established global manufacturer in the pharmaceutical sector is going through a period of significant expansion and investment at its Loughborough facility. As part of this growth, we’re supporting them in recruiting Production Operators to join their brand-new production line.

Job Title: Production OperatorPharmaceuticals

Pay Rate: £15.77 per hour

Working Hours: You will be allocated on a continental 12-hour shift style that will include working days, nights and weekends. The working hours are 6 am – 6:15 pm and 6 pm – 6:15 am. You will work an average of 40 hours per week. Overtime is available and paid at a premium rate for extra shifts.

Contract Type: 12-month temporary contract with Your Recruiters Limited that may lead to permanent employment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the setup and installation of a new production line
  • Produce initial validation batches and ensure product quality standards are met
  • Create and maintain documentation and work instructions
  • Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
  • Follow all safety, GMP (General Manufacturing Process) and quality procedures
  • Complete and verify manufacturing records accurately

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment. Ideally in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environments.
  • You must be happy working 12-hour shift patterns across days, nights and weekends.
  • You must be happy working in an environment with strict rules around PPE, workwear and no phones / food in the manufacturing facility.
  • Excellent attention to detail, teamwork and reliability.
  • A proactive ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong English language skills (writing, listening and talking)
