Role: Quality Control Technician

Location: Loughborough
Salary: £12.50 – £12.90 per hour
Hours: Flexible start between 7:00am – 8:00am | 8 hour shift including 30 minute unpaid break (7.5 hour working day)
Contract: 12 Month Temporary Contract

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Quality Control team responsible for inspecting packaging and components used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. If you enjoy detailed work, spotting errors others might miss, and working in a structured environment, this could be the perfect role to build a foundation in Quality Control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming packaging materials and components
  • Check items such as plastics, metals, canisters and patient leaflets for errors or defects
  • Carry out dimensional checks using tools such as rulers, calipers and micrometres
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines
  • Accurately record results and maintain clear documentation
  • Identify and report any quality deviations
  • Maintain high standards of compliance with health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for candidates who are:

  • Naturally detail focused and patient
  • Comfortable following clear instructions and strict procedures
  • Able to concentrate on repetitive inspection tasks
  • Friendly, curious and quick to learn

Previous experience that may help includes:

  • Quality control or inspection work
  • Manufacturing or packaging environments
  • Experience checking components or materials

No previous GMP experience is required as full training will be provided.
