Position: Sourcing and Supply Specialist

Location: Leicester (LE4)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm (Hybrid available after successfully passing probation)

Pay: up to £36k per year

Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Support sales by sourcing competitive suppliers, conducting market research and securing optimal quotes; involves occasional travel to meet suppliers face to face.
• Audit and review suppliers to ensure compliance, quality and ethical standards.
• Strengthen supplier relationships through engagement, onboarding and compliance assurance.
• Monitor supplier performance, enforcing contracts and setting performance benchmarks.
• Negotiate payment terms, service levels and pricing to drive cost efficiency.
• Develop KPI frameworks and management reporting for source & supply activities.
• Conduct profitability analysis and price benchmarking against competitors.
• Maintain deep product and pricing knowledge to enhance company decision-making.
• Ensure smooth onboarding of new suppliers while meeting compliance requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive mindset and proactive attitude
• Experience of working in a similar role
• Good organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport
• Good communication skills
• Negotiation skills – desirable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• CIPS qualification or equivalent – desirable
• Experience in using Sage 200 – desirable
