We’re recruiting for a permanent TIG Welder to join a growing fabrication business in Banbury. This is a quality-focused role working on stainless and mild steel components. Typically, small batches, custom builds, and a variety of work.
The Role:
Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Overtime: Paid at 1.3x (first 4 hours), 1.5x after, and 2x on Sundays
Hours: 40.5 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm, early finish Fridays working 7am-2pm
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

What You’ll Be Doing:
- TIG welding mild and stainless steel to spec
- Working from technical drawings to complete small batch or one-off jobs
- Preparing, welding, and finishing parts to a high standard
- Maintaining a tidy and safe workstation
- Supporting other fabrication tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Confident TIG welding skills – ideally on both stainless and mild steel
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow weld instructions
- A focus on accuracy, quality and finish
- Team player with a reliable, flexible work ethic
- Positive attitude toward general shop floor support and continuous improvement
