Following a recent £3 million investment in state-of-the-art facilities, this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team, manage diverse equipment, and support continuous improvements in a heavy industrial environment.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £50,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am – 3 pm (early finish on Fridays)

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate both planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Manage and assign tasks using CMMS, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion.
• Collaborate with external contractors for specialized services as needed.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
• Support engineering and continuous improvement projects, including building and facilities maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a maintenance supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of heavy industrial processes such as casting, rolling, annealing, and CNC machinery.
• Familiarity with modern and legacy machinery maintenance, including experience with CMMS systems.
• Problem-solving mindset, with a hands-on approach to resolving issues.
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to tackle a range of tasks to support team goals.
