As an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will join a dedicated maintenance team, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production machinery such as conveyors, pasteurisers, homogenisers, filling machinery, and bottle washers.

Position: Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Shift: 4 on 4 off (days only) shift pattern – 7am to 7pm

Location: Stafford

Pay: Circa £40,000 per year (flexible for the right candidate)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Routine and breakdown maintenance
  • Electrical fault finding and repairs
  • Mechanical repairs and part fabrication
  • Working on a variety of filling, packaging and production machinery
  • Swift response to machinery breakdowns to ensure continuous production
  • Occasional overtime to complete urgent repairs and cover for team members during holidays or illness
  • Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment

What we require:

  • 18th Edition Electrical qualifications
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within an FMCG environment
  • Ability to work with mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings
  • Apprenticeship or equivalent formal training
  • Additional skills such as MEWP, FLT, first aid, and TIG welding are advantageous
  • Agile and capable of working in various positions, including using ladders
