Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Salary: £48,000 per annum (+ overtime opportunities)

Hours: Weekly Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday: 6 am – 2 pm and 2 pm – 10 pm

Your Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery
• Troubleshoot and fix electrical and mechanical issues
• Handle mechanical repairs and fabricate parts when needed
• Maintain and service equipment like digital printers, die cutters, and corrugators
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to keep downtime to a minimum
• Plan and coordinate machine surveys with contractors, working closely with department managers
• Review contractor reports, decide on necessary actions and schedule work
• Order parts and manage resources to keep things running smoothly
• Make sure health, safety and hygiene standards are met in a busy manufacturing setting

What we require:

• 18th Edition Electrical qualifications
• Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and steam boilers (preferred but not essential)
• Apprenticeship or equivalent formal training
• Physically capable of working in various positions, including on ladders
