Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer
Location: Stowmarket
Salary: £52,034 per annum
Working Pattern: Panama Shifts (Days and Nights)
Average Hours: 42 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns to reduce downtime.
  • Support the site’s continuous improvement efforts.
  • Help improve efficiency across production machinery.
  • Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns and fix issues.
  • Fault-find and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Work with common components like sensors, motors, bearings, sprockets, and chains.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.

What we require:

  • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance background.
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of machinery and equipment.
  • Experience in fault finding and repair.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work conditions.
  • Ideally, trained to Level 3 in Electrical & Mechanical qualifications.
