Responsibilities:

As a Gate & Barrier Installation Engineer (Projects), you will be responsible for:

• Installing, commissioning and troubleshooting a range of automated gates, barriers, bollards, turnstiles, and access control systems on large-scale projects.
• Working on a variety of sites across the UK, including commercial, industrial, and public sector locations.
• Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards, following DHF, EN16005, and health & safety regulations.
• Fault-finding and problem-solving to ensure systems are installed and commissioned correctly.
• Liaising with project managers, clients and site teams to ensure smooth delivery of installations.
• Conducting site surveys and risk assessments before installations.
• Providing training and guidance to customers on system operation.
• Occasionally assisting with servicing and maintenance when required.
• Completing all necessary paperwork and reporting on job progress and completion.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in installing, commissioning and maintaining automated gates and barriers – Essential
• Knowledge of access control systems, intercoms and associated electrical work – Preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings
• IPAF, CSCS, DHF, or EN16005 certifications – Highly desirable
• Full UK driving license – Essential
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
