With decades of experience, they supply and maintain a wide range of equipment, including dock levellers, high-speed doors, and safety systems across the UK. They’re now seeking skilled PPM and Reactive Engineers to ensure their products continue performing at the highest standard for customers nationwide.

Position: Field Service Engineer (PPM and Reactive) – Industrial Door and Loading Bay Systems

Salary: £30,000 – £37,000 per year, depending on experience

Location: Regional Field Based | No more than two hours from home

Responsibilities:

  • PPM and reactive maintenance of industrial door and loading bay systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Service and maintain dock levellers, dock shelters, industrial doors and fast-action doors.
  • Work to health and safety procedures, risk assessments and service-level agreements.
  • Provide technical support and first-time fixes wherever possible.
  • Maintain accurate job reports via Protean and customer portals.
  • Attend a twenty-four-seven call-out rota, usually one week in five.

What We Are Looking For?

  • Five or more years’ experience in industrial doors and loading bay systems.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience with three-phase isolators, commissioning and testing.
  • Full United Kingdom driving licence.
  • Relevant certifications such as DHF, Eighteenth Edition, CSCS, IPAF, or PASMA are desirable.
