Position: Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Hours: 45 hours per week (Flexible start and finish times)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + Benefits Package

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance – Perform reactive and planned maintenance across the production facility to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Rapid Breakdown Response – Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Preventative Maintenance – Implement and maintain a structured maintenance schedule to optimise machine reliability.
  • Technical Improvements – Work alongside production and engineering teams to enhance processes and implement new technologies.
  • Spare Parts Management – Ensure spare parts are well stocked and efficiently managed to reduce machine downtime.
  • Safety & Compliance – Uphold high standards of health and safety, ensuring all work is completed in compliance with regulations.

What we require:

  • Formal electrical engineering qualification (minimum Level 3).
  • Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems in  a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics for fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and experience implementing reliability improvements.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem solving skills.
