Job Title: TIG/MIG Welder – Sheet Metal Fabrication

Location: Thurmaston, Leicester

Salary: £14.00 per hour + Overtime

Hours and Shifts: Monday – Thursday 08:00-16:30 | Friday 08:00-15:30 | 40 hours total

We’re looking for a TIG Welder with some MIG experience to join a growing sheet metal workshop in Thurmaston. The business produces components for a variety of sectors including food / FMCG, retail, automotive and light industrial, with a strong focus on quality and repeat business. If you’re confident working from drawings, can handle a variety of thicknesses and want to be part of a reliable team – this could be a good fit.

 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • TIG and MIG weld a variety of components
  • Work from technical drawings to fabricate assemblies
  • Maintain quality across batch and one-off production
  • Support the team in keeping workflow moving smoothly
  • Keep your area tidy and follow workshop safety practices

 What We’re Looking For:

  • TIG welding experience in a fabrication setting
  • Able to read drawings and fabricate without constant supervision
  • Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail
  • Flexible on working across other tasks when needed
  • Previous experience in sheet metal or light-medium fabrication is ideal
