Role: TIG Welder – Stainless & Mild Steel

Salary & Benefits: £14 per hour

Location: Banbury

Hours and Shifts: Monday – Thursday 07:00–16:00 | Friday 07:00–14:00 | 40.5 hours total

We’re working with a successful and growing fabrication business producing ducting, bespoke metalwork, and engineered assemblies. They’ve got a solid order book and are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join their team on the tools.

This isn’t mass production. It’s varied, quality focused work with a company that values high standards and rewards commitment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be TIG welding stainless and mild steel components to spec. Sometimes small batch work, sometimes custom one offs.

  • TIG weld using stainless and mild steel
  • Work from technical drawings and weld to specification
  • Prepare and finish parts to a high visual and structural standard
  • Keep your workspace tidy and follow H&S guidance
  • Support general fabrication work as needed

 What We’re Looking For:

  • TIG welding experience (both stainless and mild steel preferred)
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings
  • Attention to detail and pride in the appearance of your welds
  • Good communicator, team player, and strong work ethic
  • Flexible approach to supporting the wider shopfloor

  • Overtime: Time 1.3x (first 4 hrs), 1.5x after, 2x Sundays
