- Fabricate acrylic components using workshop drawings and cutting lists
- Use syringe-applied solvent cement to create clean, accurate joints
- Heat-bend and form acrylic using strip heaters
- Assemble bespoke boxes, trays, inserts and POS displays
- Trim, scrape, sand and polish acrylic edges
- Work with a range of basic workshop tools and equipment
- Maintain a high standard of finish on small-batch and one-off items
To Succeed, You Should Have:
- Experience in acrylic fabrication, plastics or POS display assembly
- Confidence using solvent adhesives such as Tensol
- Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently in a traditional workshop environment
- A reliable, steady work ethic and pride in neat, accurate work
