Bench Hand Joiner | Wigston | Up to £17 per hour + Overtime

  • Company based in Wigston
  • Salary up to £17 per hour D.O.E
  • Working on a day’s only shift pattern – Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM and a 2 PM finish on Friday

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise in joinery to produce bespoke wood products and components, such as doors, windows, retail displays, other custom wood fittings.

You’ll work with a variety of material using both hand tools and machines when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with machinery such as spindle moulders, overhead routers, panel saws, dimensional saws, sanders and more.
  • Experience in hand laminating and the ability to work on complex, manually built projects without machinery will be highly advantageous.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Having your own kit with an array of saws, chisels, planers would be highly advantageous.
