Do you love fixing complex machinery and keeping heavy industrial kit running like a dream?
We’re looking for experienced Electrical biased Maintenance Engineers to join a busy manufacturing site in Loughborough. This is a hands on role where you’ll be trusted to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and keep production moving while also supporting and mentoring the next generation of engineers.
You won’t be pigeonholed into one specific type of machine. Experience with similar industrial equipment is absolutely fine. If you come from a heavy manufacturing, processing, or plant based background and enjoy variety, responsibility, and problem solving, you’ll feel right at home.
Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Loughborough
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm – early finishes on a Friday
Salary: £44,000 per year + Package
Benefits: 26 days holiday + bank holidays, overtime opportunities, enhanced pension, life insurance (4x salary), healthcare plan, training and development, employee rewards, enhanced family policies, cycle to work scheme, bonus schemes and more
Your Responsibilities:
- Carry out advanced maintenance, repairs, and fault finding across site equipment
- Diagnose issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment including vacuum plants, oil processing systems, FLTs, compressed air systems, lighting, and production machinery
- Support preventative maintenance schedules and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
What We’re Looking For:
- Apprenticeship qualified – NVQ Level 3, ONC or City & Guilds qualification
- Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role
- Good fault finding skills and confidence working on varied plant and machinery
- Experience with this exact type of equipment is an advantage, not a dealbreaker. Transferable skills from similar industrial environments are very welcome.
Recruitment Process:
To apply, submit your CV via the job advert or contact Josh Whitmore to discuss the role in more detail: josh.whitmore@your-recruiters.co.uk | 0116 467 0800
