Job Title: Powder Coater

Location: Leicester
Hours: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

We’re recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands on role focused on preparing, coating and finishing metal components to a high standard, ensuring quality, consistency and efficiency throughout the process.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare metal components for powder coating, including sanding, cleaning and pre treatment
• Apply powder coatings in line with specifications and quality standards
• Operate coating equipment including spray guns, hoppers and booth collection systems
• Monitor machine settings and gauges to identify defects or inconsistencies
• Carry out visual inspections to assess powder flow, coverage and finish quality
• Bake coated parts at correct temperatures within required timeframes
• Load and unload components onto fixtures safely and efficiently
• Maintain and clean powder coating equipment, reporting any faults
• Follow all health & safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure production targets and on time delivery requirements are met

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a powder coating role
• Strong attention to detail and pride in finished work
• Good understanding of powder coating processes and equipment
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Comfortable working in a fast paced production environment
• Awareness of quality standards and safety procedures

This role is based in a production setting involving manual handling, bending and lifting of steel components. Appropriate PPE must be worn at all times.
