Job Title: Quality Inspector

Salary: £13.00 to £14.00 per hour

Location: Northampton
Hours: Mon–Thu 7:00–15:30, Fri 7:00–15:00

You’ll be the extra set of eyes (and steady hands) that keep quality at the heart of everything that is produced. From fabricated parts to full assemblies, you’ll be checking, measuring, and making sure everything meets the high standards their customers expect.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Inspect fabricated and machined parts using verniers, gauges, and tape measures.
  • Check assemblies against drawings (1st & 3rd angle).
  • Raise non-conformance reports when needed (you’ll be the one spotting what others don’t).
  • Work alongside a skilled inspection team in a busy, forward thinking engineering workshop.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous inspection experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Confidence with engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
  • Practical, hands on mindset – safety first.
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked with sheet metal, welding, or machining processes.
