We’re recruiting for a Robotic Welding Operator to join a busy fabrication business producing components for the yellow goods sector, with a mix of repeat batch work and more varied jobs.

Job Title: Robotic Welding Operative
Location: Leicester (LE2)
Basic Pay Rate: Basic rate of £13.00 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Night Shift Allowance:  £2.00 per hour
Total Pay Rate: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Night Shift Hours: Monday – Thursday | 6:00pm – 6:00am (48 hours paid)
Overtime: Paid at time and one third above 48 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operating Panasonic robotic welding cells
• Loading and unloading components into jigs and fixtures
• Monitoring weld quality and making adjustments where needed
• Working with Hydrafeed systems to ensure consistent weld output
• Carrying out basic inspections of welded parts
• Maintaining production flow and quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with robotic welding (Panasonic preferred)
• Understanding of MIG welding processes
• Ability to identify weld defects and quality issues
• Good attention to detail
• Experience setting or adjusting robotic welding programmes
• Background in high volume fabrication environments
