Job Title: TIG/MIG Welder
Location: Leicestershire
Hours: Fixed Afternoon Shift – 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Wednesday: 2:00pm – 12:00am
• Thursday: 2:00pm – 11:30pm
• Friday off every week
Pay: From £16.00 per hour (flexible and negotiable for the right candidate)
Contract Type: This is a temporary position paid weekly by Your Recruiters Limited

This is a great opportunity for an experienced TIG/MIG Welder to join a well established Leicestershire based sheet metal manufacturer with a strong forward order book and genuine long term stability. The business values quality, consistency and flexibility on the shop floor.

Experience welding aluminium would be a strong advantage for this role

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • TIG/MIG welding of sheet metal components
    • Working from engineering drawings and welding to specification
    • Producing neat, hig -quality welds to a clean finish
    • Carrying out visual inspection and minor finishing where required
    • Maintaining a safe, organised and production ready work area
    • Supporting the wider fabrication team when needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven TIG/MIG welding experience in a fabrication or sheet metal environment
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
    • Confidence to complete a welding test (TIG/MIG)
    • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
    • Reliable, safety focused approach
    • Aluminium welding experience – highly desirable
    • Experience with both TIG and MIG welding
