Job Title: TIG Welder

Location: Leicestershire, LE7

Shifts Available: Early Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm, Late Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – 11:00pm | Friday off

Got the steady hand and sharp eye of a TIG welder? If precision is your thing and you take pride in clean, consistent welds, this is a great opportunity to join a well established Leicester based sheet metal manufacturer with a strong order book and genuine long term scope.

Experience welding aluminium would be a big advantage, particularly for this role.

Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate (flexible depending on experience), fixed shifts, overtime available, clock in bonus, birthday bonus, Tool Club access, laundered workwear provided, holidays that increase with length of service, free on site parking, clean and well equipped workshop, and genuine long term scope.

You’ll be getting stuck into:

  • Precision TIG welding of sheet metal components
  • Working from engineering drawings and welding to specification
  • Producing neat, high quality welds to a clean finish
  • Visual inspection and minor finishing where required
  • Keeping your work area safe, organised, and production ready
  • Supporting the wider fabrication team as needed

You’ll need to bring:

  • Proven TIG welding experience in a fabrication or sheet metal environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Confidence to complete a TIG weld test
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • A reliable, safety focused approach to work
  • Aluminium welding experience – highly desirable
