This is a day shift MIG / TIG welding position within a busy sheet metal manufacturing business supplying medical, retail display, POS, and a range of other precision-led industries. offers real development for welders who want to progress their skills.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch and 15-minute paid tea break

 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • MIG and/or TIG welding sheet metal components
  • Working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
  • Welding material thicknesses from 1.2mm up to 10mm
  • Producing work for medical, retail, POS, and other specialist sectors
  • Working from engineering drawings and job specs
  • Maintaining high quality standards in a clean, organised workshop

What We’re Looking For:

  • MIG and/or TIG welding experience
  • Sheet metal background preferred
  • Comfortable working with thin to medium gauge materials
  • Pride in quality and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Permanent Employment Benefits:

  • Minimum starting rate of £16.00 per hour (higher rates offered, depending on skill level)

  • Training available on robot welding and programming
