Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Northampton, NN5

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week: 7 AM -3:30 PM / 3 PM finish on Friday

Salary: £27K per year

The role:

You’ll be the person ensuring every part, every assembly and every detail meets the high standards of their customer’s demand. From first-off checks to final sign-off, you’ll take pride in accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect fabricated and machined parts using verniers, gauges and tape measures.
• Check assemblies against 1^st & 3^rd angle drawings.
• Raise non-conformance reports where needed.
• Work closely with a skilled inspection team in a busy, forward-thinking workshop.

 What we’re looking for:

• Previous inspection experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Confidence reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances.
• Practical, hands-on mindset with safety always in mind.
• Bonus: experience with sheet metal, welding or machining.
