Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire

Pay: £15.77 per hour

Shifts: This is not your average Monday to Friday job. It runs on a 12 hour rotating pattern across days, nights and weekends, with block days off built into the cycle.

Contract Type: Ongoing temporary assignment with Your Recruiters scheduled for at least 12 months for successful candidates.

Job Role:

You’ll be working in a clean, regulated pharmaceutical site in Loughborough, producing inhalers used across the world. It’s structured, process-driven work where accuracy and consistency are key..

Duties:

  • Running automated inhaler production lines
  • Feeding cartons and leaflets into machines
  • Opening boxes and preparing mouth pieces
  • Keeping the production line clean and organised
  • Taking pallets of materials from stores to the line
  • Moving finished pallets to designated areas
  • Supporting line changeovers between orders
  • Completing documentation accurately
  • Following strict GMP and safety procedures

This is repetitive, process driven work that requires focus and attention to detail.

Pay & Shifts:

  • £15.77 per hour
  • 12.25 hours paid per shift (Days: 6am – 6:15pm / Nights: 6pm – 6:15am)
  • Working 15 to 16 working days per month on average
  • 3 x 20 minute paid breaks per shift

Due to the regulated environment, the company operates with non negotiable rules. To be considered for this role, you must be comfortable with:

  • No phones on the production floor
  • Wearing PPE as provided by the company
  • Not wearing make-up or jewelry
  • Covering facial hair
  • No food or drink in manufacturing areas

Our Ideal Candidates:

  • Will have demonstrable experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Must be comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts (days, nights and weekends)
  • Must have strong written, speaking, and listening English skills
  • Must be comfortable following the company’s rules
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and team focused
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing is desirable, but not essential.
