Looking for a hands-on role where you can earn well, learn properly, and build something long-term?

You’ll be joining a growing manufacturer supplying doors and windows into major new build housing developments across the UK.

They’ve recently secured a major contract win and invested in a new factory on the same industrial estate, so they’re building their team for the long term.

The Job

You’ll be working in a clean, modern production environment, manufacturing doors and windows used in new build housing.

You’ll be trained across different areas of the shop floor, including:

  • Operating semi-automated machinery
  • Assembly and production work
  • Quality checking
  • Packing and finishing

What you’ll get

  • £13.45 per hour (Real Living Wage)
  • Permanent contract from day one
  • Overtime paid at time and a half (regularly available)
  • Shift allowance after probation
  • Monday to Friday only
  • 30 min unpaid break + 2 x 15 min paid breaks
  • Clean, organised working environment
  • Strong focus on health & safety

Why this role stands out

  • Business is growing due to major contract wins
  • Investment into a new factory on site
  • Currently 35 people on the shop floor, many with 10+ years’ service
  • You’ll be trained across multiple areas — not stuck on one task
  • Real opportunity to progress if you want it

What they’re looking for

  • Happy working a rotating morning/afternoon shift pattern
  • Confident using hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, hammers etc.)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Good attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Team player with a positive attitude

You don’t need loads of experience — but you do need the right attitude and be comfortable working with your hands.
