Job Title: Trainee Project Engineer (Ventilation)

Location: Banbury & Surrounding areas

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £27,500pa plus laptop + Mobile Phone

Are you looking for career opportunity that provides training & full qualifications as a Ventilation Project Engineer.  You’ll be trained to deliver high-quality installations within commercial or industrial environments.  Working for a market leader in bespoke commercial catering and ventilation systems.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Projects Manager and based in Banbury, you’ll be trained to manage multiple bespoke projects from initial site surveys through to final installation and customer handover. This is a hands-on and varied role that involves site visits, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance across all phases of delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid CSCS/Skill card
  • UK driving licence
  • Do you have any ventilation / duct experience – advantage
  • Willing to take on the NVQ training to gain qualifications?
  • Excellent multitasking, organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Liaising with clients, architects, and M&E contractors
  • Conducting site surveys and taking final measurements
  • Coordinating and managing project schedules
  • Attending pre-start and progress site meetings
  • Supporting on-site commissioning and handovers
  • Maintaining project documentation to quality standards
  • Supporting sales and occasional product demonstrations
