Machine Operator (BOBST Masterfold)

Temp to Perm Contract to start ASAP!!!

Location: Marston Green, Bham B37

Hours of Work: Rotating Shifts – 10.00pm – 6.00am – Sun – Thurs / 6.00am – 2.00pm / 2.00pm – 10.00pm – Monday – Friday

Salary: £15.10 per hour (shift premiums added once permanent)

Details:

Setting up and operating BOBST Masterfold folder-gluer machinery in a fast-moving packaging and manufacturing environment

Full machine training provided, though prior setting/operating experience is required.

Essential:

  • Proven experience operating a BOBST Masterfold or similar high-speed folder-gluer
  • Strong understanding of multi-point carton setups
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Attention to detail with a focus on quality

Desirable:

  • Experience with BOBST features
  • Knowledge of glue systems (cold glue, hot melt if applicable)
  • Familiarity with packaging materials (carton board, flute types)
