We’re supporting a respected and growing organisation in the aerospace sector in appointing a Corporate Contracts Manager — a senior role leading contract governance across multiple UK sites and acting as a trusted partner to the Commercial Director.
Job Title: Corporate Contracts Manager
Location: Birmingham / West Midlands (UK Travel + Occasional International Travel)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + Annual Bonus
Package: Company Car + Excellent Benefits
Job Role:
- Leading a team of Contract Managers across multiple sites
- Owning negotiation, implementation, renewal, and governance of all customer contracts
- Ensuring compliance with contractual terms, export controls, and sector regulations
- Advising the Commercial Director on commercial strategy and risk
- Representing the business in customer and supplier meetings, audits, and reviews
- Supporting bids, tenders, pricing reviews, and contract amendments
- Collaborating with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Purchasing to strengthen contract governance
- Building long-term customer relationships through regular UK and occasional international visits
- Providing training, recruitment support, and maintaining skills records within the contracts function
Skills and Experience Required:
- Extensive aerospace contract management experience. This is non-negotiable.
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and complex customer agreements
- Proven leadership of remote or multi-site teams
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and sharp commercial judgement
- Strong MS Office capability, especially Excel
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required
Desirable:
- Experience with aerospace-grade metals, stockholding, or sales leadership
- Familiarity with Estel ERP or CRM systems
- Understanding of aerospace manufacturing, maintenance, or service environments
