Role: Mandarin Fluent Quality Control Coordinator
Location: Rubery, Birmingham B45
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)
Salary: £12.50 – £13.46 per hour (£26,000 – £28,000 DOE)

This is a hands on quality role where you’ll sit right at the centre of product control, supplier communication, and technical data.

If you like structure, detail, and having real ownership over quality, you’ll fit in well here.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Completing and updating product data sheets using Excel, Photoshop, and AutoCAD
  • Communicating with suppliers to resolve product issues and drive improvements
  • Checking incoming stock to ensure it meets required standards
  • Testing new and existing products and producing clear reports
  • Managing spare parts and product information
  • Logging and investigating quality issues
  • Maintaining and updating the inventory control system
  • Checking returns and identifying faults
  • Handling inbound calls, emails, and general admin tasks
  • Keeping documentation accurate, organised, and up to date

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fluent Mandarin (essential)
  • Experience in a quality, technical, or product-focused role
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Photoshop, and AutoCAD
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Confident communicating with international suppliers
  • Able to manage your own workload and priorities
  • Calm under pressure with a logical, problem-solving mindset
  • Organised, proactive, and reliable
