Job Title: General Operative
Industry: Sheet Metal Manufacturing
Location: LE7, Leicestershire
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Contract Type: This is a temporary position paid weekly by Your Recruiters Limited.
Working Hours:  Monday to Thursday 6am – 4pm

The Role:

We’re looking for a reliable General Operative to support a busy sheet metal manufacturing environment in Leicester. This is a hands-on role where you’ll move between tasks, helping keep production running smoothly and ensuring orders are prepared and dispatched on time. This position suits someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Hanging components onto the paintline
  • Packing finished products ready for dispatch
  • Light assembly work
  • Supporting general workshop duties to keep production flowing

What We’re Looking For:

  • Able to work well within a small team environment
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting is beneficial
  • Experience with hanging, packing, or working on a production line is desirable
  • Must be able to travel to and from LE7 for 6am starts (no public transport available)
