Job Title: General Operative
Location: Leicester
Pay: Up to £14 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 2:00pm

The Role

We’re looking for a reliable General Operative to support a busy sheet metal manufacturing environment in Leicester. This is a hands on role where you’ll move between tasks, helping keep production running smoothly and ensuring orders are prepared and dispatched on time.

This position suits someone who enjoys practical work, stays organised in a fast paced workshop, and is happy getting stuck in wherever needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Hanging components onto the paintline
  • Packing finished products ready for dispatch
  • Light nutserting and basic assembly work
  • Supporting general workshop duties to keep production flowing

What We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable with hands-on, manual work
  • Reliable, punctual and able to maintain a steady work pace
  • Quick to learn new tasks
  • Able to work well within a small team environment
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting is beneficial
  • Experience with hanging, packing, or working on a production line is desirable
