Job Title: MIG Welder
Location: Leicester
Pay: Circa £16.00 – £18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday – Thursday | DAY SHIFT
Working Week: 39 hours paid

We’re recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy fabrication business in Leicester, producing fabricated components for the yellow goods sector.

This position would suit someone comfortable working across a range of material thicknesses who can produce good quality MIG welds consistently within a production environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• MIG welding fabricated components
• Welding material ranging from approximately 3mm to 30mm
• Preparing components ready for welding
• Working from fabrication drawings and job specifications
• Checking the quality of your own welds
• Identifying and correcting welding defects where required
• Working across both repeat production and varied fabrication work
• Maintaining quality and productivity standards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous MIG welding experience
• Confident welding material from approximately 3mm through to 30mm
• Ability to produce good quality, consistent welds
• Experience within fabrication, manufacturing or engineering
• Good understanding of weld quality and common defects
• Ability to work independently and maintain standards
• Reliable with good attention to detail
