  Are you a proper Bench Hand Joiner who wants to build high end bespoke work, earn good money through overtime and actually see the finished product you’ve made?

  Join a specialist Leicestershire manufacturer producing bespoke furniture and retail displays for the luxury cosmetics, fragrance and retail industries.

  Positions Available: Bench Hand Joiners
  Location: Barrow upon Soar
  Pay: From £17.00 per hour | £25.50 per hour when on overtime
  Hours: 40 hours per week | Flexible working
  Contract: Permanent

  This isn’t repetitive production joinery.

  You’ll be manufacturing high end bespoke counters, displays and furniture, with projects going into major retail environments across the UK and internationally.

  The business has more than 25 years’ experience within bespoke manufacturing and has produced work for some of the biggest names within luxury cosmetics and fragrance as an example.

  Think seriously premium brands.

  Everything is made to a high standard, and when required, you’ll also travel out with the team to install the work you’ve manufactured.

  Your working hours

  Standard hours are 8am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, but there is genuine flexibility.

  Some of the team start at 6am and finish around 2:30pm, while others start early and stay later when overtime is available.

  If you like getting in early, cracking on and earning extra money, the setup works well.

  What will you be doing?

  You’ll work from drawings to manufacture bespoke furniture, counters and retail displays using equipment including:

  • Dimension saws.
  • Spindle moulders.
  • Overhead CNC routers.
  • Laminating equipment.
  • Traditional joinery machinery and hand tools.
  • Preparation work before spraying and finishing.

  You’ll need your own joinery tools and enough experience to work independently without needing someone standing over you.

  What experience do you need?

  • Experience within high end retail, cosmetics, fragrance, shopfitting, POS displays or bespoke furniture would be particularly useful.
  • You’ll also need to be happy travelling to site occasionally to install your own work, including projects in places such as London, Birmingham, Manchester and Scotland.

  Accommodation, expenses, vans and fuel are all covered.

  More than anything, the company wants proper joiners who are good grafters, take pride in their work and know their way around a workshop.
