Do you enjoy getting hands on with electronics, taking pride in neat, accurate work, and knowing what you build actually works?
If you like seeing a product come together, fault-finding when something’s not quite right, and leaving things better than you found them, this could be right up your street.
We’re recruiting for an Electrical Assembly & Test Engineer to support a specialist engineering business. This is a heavily hands-on role with a strong focus on PCB wiring, soldering, testing and fault finding, alongside electrical and electro-mechanical assembly.
This is a quality-driven environment, not mass production. Attention to detail genuinely matters here.

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum + package
Benefits include:
- On-site parking

- Exposure to specialist products and systems
- Private Medical Insurance and more
Your Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical components to drawings and work instructions
- Carry out PCB wiring, soldering and fault finding to a high standard
- Test completed assemblies using bench and rig-based test equipment
- Accurately complete build records, test documentation and quality paperwork
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace in line with quality and ISO procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with PCB wiring, soldering and electronic fault finding
- Ability to read and follow electrical drawings and test instructions
- Background in electrical or electronic assembly, test or build environments
